Kway Chap
Toa Payoh has two quite good kway chap stores. One is at Lorong 8 and one is at Lorong 4. This particular review will be from Lorong 4.
When we reached there at 8.30pm, there was still a long queue as it is self service. Majority of the tables had kway chap too.
Even after 9pm, the queue never really stopped. Thankfully, service was fast and efficient, so the wait was not too long.
The intestines were actually only average or maybe slightly above average. The 3 layer pork had more meat than fat but not too little fat that those fatty lovers will complain. The meat was actually quite good. Their tau gua was also slightly above average, it being soft and firm but their tau pok was the real winner. It was not to soft or not too chewy. The kway was soft and was smooth enough to glide down your throat and the soup had no herbs and it was tasty enough. Beware of the chilli though, it is quite spicy, but shiok nonetheless.
They charge it quite cheap though. For two person without the pig skin, it was only $5.20. And for that price, we have no complains. Worth every single cent and maybe a bit more. With a multi storey car park right next to it, parking was a breeze too.

Chom Cho sipnida! Kway Chap choayo dou.
I love Kway Chap too! The main concern of Kway Chap lovers is whether the Kway are too thick, 2nd will be the soup. 3rd will be the pig's components which comes along with the Kway; pig intestines especially! With regards to your above recommendation, everything looked good. Its sufficient to make me drool!
